PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pirates General Manager Neal Huntington joins Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93.7 The FAN to talk about the offseason spending for both his club, and those across baseball after Josh Hamilton inked a 5-year, $125 million deal with the Angels.
Huntington said his team has a much smaller margin of error when it comes to signing players to deals because they have to spend their money wisely, and they can’t afford to make the mistakes that teams in other markets get away with.
We also talked with Huntington about the signing of Jason Grilli, and if that move means closer Joel Hanrahan will be traded.
