PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Bob Pompeani talked with Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle at PiratesFest.
Hurdle revisited the trade deadline and thought that what the teams asked the Pirates for and what those teams ended up receiving was very different.
Hurdle told Pompeani that he is comfortable with the back of his bullpen with Jason Grilli and Joel Hanrahan.
Hurdle added that teams are banging on the door about Hanrahan, but said that the team will keep Hanrahan unless it makes the team better.
